Google Business Profile rebuild.

For most local service businesses the profile outranks the website and gets a fraction of the attention. A flat $600, and you do not need a site from me to buy it.

The profile is usually the front door

Somebody searches for a plumber in their town. What they see first is the map with three businesses in it, not the ordinary blue links underneath. Those three are chosen from Google Business Profiles, and whether yours is among them has very little to do with how good your website is.

The profile is also the thing that gets set up once, in fifteen minutes, in a hurry, and then never touched. Wrong primary category. Services left empty. Four photos from 2019. No posts. Questions answered by strangers. Reviews sitting there without a reply.

That is a profile actively working against the business. It is also the cheapest thing on this site to fix.

What the rebuild covers

  • Categories. The primary category carries more weight than anything else on the profile, and it is the field most often wrong. Secondaries get set deliberately rather than left blank.
  • Services. Every service you actually sell, entered with real descriptions instead of the defaults Google guesses at.
  • Photos. Sorted, captioned, and ordered so the first ones a customer sees are the ones that sell. Interior, exterior, team, and work-in-progress, with the junk cleared out.
  • Posts. The feed set up and seeded, so the profile looks like a business that is open rather than one that stopped in 2022.
  • Questions. The real ones customers ask, asked and answered properly, instead of leaving the section to whoever wanders in.
  • The review system. A direct review link, a way to ask that does not feel like begging, and a pattern for replying to what comes in.
  • The details that quietly matter. Hours including holidays, service area, attributes, the description, and making sure the business name matches reality rather than being stuffed with keywords, which is the fastest way to get a profile suspended.

Why it sits on its own

Profile work is bundled into the Signature build, because a site for a local trade without it is half a job. But plenty of businesses have a website that is fine and a profile that is not, and there is no sense selling them a rebuild they do not need.

So it is published on its own at a flat $600. No website purchase required, no monthly commitment attached, and no retainer to keep it.

What it looks like in practice

On Kiley Plumbing and Heating the profile work ran alongside the build rather than after it. A master plumber trading in Holliston since 1992 with fifteen towns of coverage has plenty to say on a profile, and almost none of it was there. Categories, the full service list, photos, and the review system were rebuilt together so the profile and the site say the same thing about the same business.

That alignment is most of the job. Google is comparing what your profile claims against what your website says and what other sites say about you, and disagreements cost you.

What this service does not include

No guarantee of a Map Pack position, because nobody can honestly offer one. No fake reviews, no review gating, and no buying citations in bulk from a directory farm — all three are against Google's terms and all three eventually cost more than they return.

It also does not include ongoing posting. If you want the profile maintained after the rebuild, the Care plans cover posts and review replies monthly. If you would rather run it yourself, you get the profile in a state where that is straightforward.
